If you are unable to work for a short period of time because of an illness of injury, Short Term Disability (STD) benefits may replace a percentage of your pay.

Long Term Disability
James Perse Enterprises, Inc. provides LTD benefits to all eligible employees. Disability insurance provides financial assistance if you are unable to work for an extended period of time due to an illness or injury. Benefit payments begin after you have met the waiting period of 180 consecutive days. LTD plan benefits are paid at 60% of your base salary, subject to plan maximum, and the benefits are paid monthly and will continue to pay until you reach the age 65. Please note that these benefits are taxable.
